Nor-Tech 390 Speed Test Update

Team Grander Marine got a chance to do some setup and testing this week on the Nor-Tech 390powered by Quad Mercury Racing 400R‘s. The results look like a world speed record for offshore fishing boats!

The engines now have about 7 hours and we have been spinning stock 30″ Bravo FS’s with the diffuser rings cut down. We still need to do some work on the props and I am confident we have more room for improvement. We are currently on the rev limiters pushing these props. I am absolutely blown away by the performance and handling of this Nor-Tech 390. We have a bunch of go pro footage that I will put together in short order. At this current time I believe our tests confirm this Nor-Tech 390 to be the current World’s Fastest Offshore Fishing Boat.
